It's great to see Pantone's 2013 color of the year in that classy sofa.
At $9.99 I am ready to go purchase that faux sheepskin rug, nice and fluffy. 

Classy & romantic vs. bright and bold. I'm torn!

A Royal Style Talk...

Let’s have a Royal talk! You probably know by now that the Royal baby is a boy. The child hasn't been named yet but we'll hear about that soon...and every little boy born after the #royalbaby will be named like him. Hah! You know it's the truth. Lets just wait and continue the talk about Kate Middleton's dress. We all love Kate's style and today, she wore a blue polka dot dress to introduce the Royal Baby. Some say it's an ode to Princess Diana who had a similar outfit when Prince William was presented to the world. I think she looked adorable and even though her baby belly is still there, every women would love to look as radiant as Kate when heading home from the hospital.

I thought we might want to wear blue dresses to work, weekend or to introduce our own royal baby to the world so, I picked out 3 styles to love.

Blue Home

Living in blue decor could make us feel fresh and give every home a beachy touch. Just what I need on this HOT summer day. Metallic Shoe Shop!

Shine on with these metallic color shoes and sandals! I started googling metallic shoes and the first link that caught my attention was +Nordstrom. I try to pick my features from different websites but they had so many cute and sexy choices that I had to feature all six from their site. I am personally going cucu for number 4, 5 and 6. The Scallop Trend!

The scallop trend has been going on for a while...a couple years, maybe? I remember walking in to a +J.Crew store and falling in love with some scalloped shorts that scared me off with the price tag but that didn't keep me from dreaming.

Blue Nails: Spark-tacular & Rock the boat!

July's color on the month is blue and it made me realize that I didn't own a blue nail polish so, I had to go shopping for one. The lucky color is Essie's "Rock the Boat" polish. I usually try to add some glam to my nails by using a metal tone polish or glitter and in this case I picked Sephora by Opi in "Spark-tacular!" I've had this one for a few years and love it because it complements any color.

The trick for getting the glitter line straight is to make sure there is enough glitter on the brush and then placing it on top of your nail slowly without brushing it so that it wont become thick.

Swimming in Blue with J.Crew!

I love Summer, I truly do but this NYC heat just drives me nuts. Sometimes I just want to head to the beach, pool, or a beautiful rocky river like the ones in my hometown Bonao, DR. That might help us cool down besides staying home with a blasting AC.

You probably noticed from the title that July's color of the month is Blue. I picked blue because it reminds me of the beautiful white sand beaches of Dominican Republic . Yes! I really want them all and, I bet you do too. These +LOFT pouches come in leather, raffia, sequins, beads and other trendy materials. They make great gifts and are perfect for Summer - from the beach days to the late night parties. I would love to have them all but if I had to pick two, I would go for number 2 & 9.
