Boots: Over the Knee

A dear friend told me she'd been looking for boots that go over the knee but couldn't find "the one." I mentioned that I could find her a couple options and also post them on the blog. So here they are, a few casual and dressy options that I hope she likes or at least guide her to find the perfect pair.

My favorites? 2 & 5. Both pairs are from +ALDO and even though I searched in many places online, I must say, they have the most stylish selection of boots.

Shooties = Shoes and Booties

I might have been living in la-la-land but maybe this is a new word to you too. I just learned the word shooties and I'm assuming it came from combining the words shoes and booties for those shoes that aren't really booties. It's a funny word so that gave me a reason to share six pairs from DSW.com, where I found the interesting word.

Brown shoes are my favorite because they are usually better looking than the black version but I'm including one black shootie. What do you think? Is this the first time you read about shooties? Share your thoughts in the comments.

Black Shoes for Fall & Winter

Enjoy my selection of black shoes that we can all use this Fall and Winter seasons. I am in love with the Alice & Olivia pump (#1) and the Jessica Simpson ankle tied pump (#6.) I've been looking for a snow boot and think that the Sorel Boot (#7) is cute and will definitely keep me warm. What do yo think? Which is your "must have" from my selection?

These brown boots are made for walkin'!!!

My shoes must be comfortable, fashionable, and durable. If I need to decide between a brown or black shoe I would definitely go for the brown. I like to be comfortable 24/7 so when you do see me wearing heels don't bother asking if they are comfortable because they sure are. ;)

The weather in NYC is nothing like the usual hot August. It's been cool and breezy as if Fall is getting closer, so we are all here wondering if the heat will come back and hoping it does.

While the weather decides what to do, I've been browsing the web for some cute brown boots. I am not sure how durable or comfortable they are, but I do know that they are cute and fashionable. Enjoy my boots wish list and listen to the boots song below. Cheers!

let it rain!

Cloudy and beautiful day in New York City. The trees are finally getting some green colors - or pink like cherry blossoms - and there is a nice breeze as if rain is on it's way. I like wearing my rain boots because they make my life easier - it's very uncomfortable getting home with your jeans soaking wet so for today I decided to put together my top rain boots selection. My favorite one is the tretorn boot in red but let me tell you, I am eyeing number six because it seems very convenient to be able to fold and pack these to work or elsewhere.
