Goodbye 2013 and Happy New Year!

What a faaaabulous yearrr! 2013 was great from starting the blog (yes, Cheers! Cristalia will be 1 year in a few weeks) to making new friends, attending design and bloggers conferences, guest blogging at MyFriendBettySays.com, traveling to Hawaii, San Francisco, visiting new places in my gorgeous Dominican Republic (stay tuned for this post), working with great brands, redesigning the site and much more!

In 2014, the plan is to keep growing Cheers! Cristalia focusing more on fashion and home decor posts and to continue to work with great brands.

I wish you all the very best in this New Year. Health, joy and peace!

Love & Cheers! -Cristalia

Christmas Wreaths

1 ($15) :: 2 ($24.95) :: 3 ($29.99) :: 4 ($99.99) :: 5 ($32.98) :: 6 ($65)

With vacation and other things going on I hadn't had a chance to get a Christmas wreath. Here are some beautiful ones I found online. I've also been eyeing a natural pine wreath from +Trader Joe's and was planning on decorating it myself but I'm still undecided. Which would you pick adorn your door?

the emerald home

March is a very green month at Cheers! Cristalia. Each week I'll be posting green inspiration to celebrate Emerald - Pantone color of the year - and St. Patricks Day!

This green shade gives any ordinary space a bit of luxury because it was inspired my the emerald gemstone. The color conveys balance, and a sense of well-being. This week I bring you home decor inspiration in emerald green with rugs, chairs, lanterns, and more.

What's your thought on 2013's Pantone color? Do you own home decor in emerald tones? Share your thoughts below.

Mix, Match, Print, Pattern!

If you are somewhat like me, a bit conservative with your outfits, you'll never leave your home with two pieces that don't seem to match. I usually like to keep it simple and would only have one piece stand out with a pattern or bright color.

This new pattern trend might have you rethink your outfits and give them a fun and careless twist. It's definitely about to convince me to mix and match my polka dot and stripe tops with floral pants!

My selection below is prove that the trend is here for good: Lauren Conrad's Kohl's collection is as usual, amazingly sweet with the pastel color palette but surely following the pattern trend with the stripe top and floral shorts. The indie fashion brand, Norwegian Wood is popping with great color in these pattern combination.

Finally, a fresh out of the oven, Target's collaboration with Prabal Gurung. The mix of lace and pattern are beautiful and making me want all the pieces.

What are your thoughts on this new trend? Will you admire it or own it?
